For our flight to Denver Colorado, we flew via Frontier Airlines. This is the first time that we have flown Frontier and I say that I’m quite impressed with them (at least compared to United or other US carriers). For one, they have a TV screen at the back of every seat. So it was relatively simple to keep our kids occupied. There was nothing outstanding about the airline stewardess or stewards. And meals cost an arm and a leg if you buy them on the plane. Mrs Credit Card had packed peanut butter and ham and cheese sandwiches. Coke (or rather Pepsi) and drinks are free.

The one thing that I did not like was that I thought the plane was a little stuffy. I was probably a little layered but the air condition felt warm and I was a little uncomfortable. I wasn’t really impressed with the magazine either. But I guess the TV in front of the seat won me over.

There was one mistake that we made in this instance. Because we were flying Frontier the first time, we did not register and set up our frequent flyer program online before we checked in. And because it was a late check in and we had our ski bags and 3 whining kids, we totally forgot to do it at the check in counter. So to get our miles, we have to register online after we get back and probably send proof of our airline tickets. (at least that was how it used to be done). We’ll see how this one works out.

It also reminds me that I have not reviewed the Frontier Airlines MasterCard (which I gather lots of folks in Colorado have) and their frequent flyer program. That will be on the to do list when I get back (or perhaps in the next few days).
